Has it really enhanced that gameplay, having those pieces in Arena Commander, from what we've seen as far as our tests go?

TL;DRThey don't yet say whether the pickups improved gameplay, since the changes are still being playtested internally, with Evocati and later wider testing to follow, so they have only their own opinions so far.

We're still in the process.

It would be hard to, I mean, the idea was just balancing, which is like you fire your missiles and maybe if you're doing well you get some more missiles, and you could land on a platform and then be on it for a few seconds and reload. People were sort of worried about what happens if people are spawn camping the platform, so we'll do pickups and we'll see how that goes. So really, we have our own opinions, but we haven't opened this stuff up. We've just done the flight model changes to the Evocati, and they will also get to play with that and give us feedback, and then it'll go wider to the PTU and then obviously out to everyone. But that's what we're in the process of right now. So we're in the process of performing playtests every day on Star Marine, on Arena Commander, and just trying to really make those fun, quick-to-get-into, well-balanced multiplayer PvP situations. So people that want to train themselves dogfighting and train themselves running around doing run-and-gun combat, they'll be able to do it quickly without having to travel large distances or risk having their ship blown out from underneath them and stuff like that.
