What is your favoritest source of inspiration for ships that you're designing?

Starship Troopers.

I actually really love Aliens. The Alien franchise has been one of my longtime favorite sci-fi IPs. The Sulaco, the Cheyenne dropship. And while the Nostromo is amazing from Alien, it's like, okay, that was just the one ship then, but then just where they took it from in Aliens and then built the expanded universe of it. Because when I was growing up, I was reading all of the Dark Horse Aliens comics, where they go into all the other weird ships that never get shown or mentioned once in any of the movies. But it's just a really cool aesthetic to them, where it's like, yes, this is bare bones, because space is a death trap.
