How will the different metrics between humans and aliens be addressed? What kind of thought goes into making these cockpits that were originally designed for aliens usable for humans?

Generally, at least the races I've touched aren't too far from human proportions. I know the design of the Vanduul ships was handled over there in LA, which is where they came up with the massage bed cockpit seats, as people like to call them. So there are some interesting challenges, but fortunately the Banu, or the Defender at least, uses controls that humans are quite familiar with, because they're reasonably human-sized. We haven't really had much of a problem with them so far.

And the Defenders that people are buying are specifically made for human consumption.

Yeah, so if you come across a Banu ship in the wild, it might look vastly different from what you're buying.
