High five to Michael, who asked the question, because I did. I won a contest today. I made an effect almost two months ago. There's a new website called Real-Time VFX. It's just for visual artists, but you can go there and look at cool references. First prize. I had to make one object transform into another. Object A had to dissolve into pieces, move into another position and assemble into a completely different object. So I made all sorts of shader-based tricks, the particles driving the distortion of the mesh. Well, I spent a whole month on that, and that's it. I won it today.

Much deserved. And it shows that Michael is really good with not just particles but with writing shaders and that kind of stuff that's just magic to me.
