Do the Idris-P and M have the same base hull and just come with different starting equipment?

Well, one comes with a railgun, one doesn't. It's the M.

One has a hardpoint for a railgun and the other doesn't. So they are different base hulls. And that gun is going to be just terrifying when it's all built out. Probably the largest class of weapon that players will be able to really change out on their ships, just because, well, size 12s are ginormous and bigger than a lot of our current ships.
