In the fourth 10 for the Chairman, you talked about some matchmaking criteria and I was wondering what the skill level is, since we won't be leveling up.Will it be based on your kill count (like WWI-WWII aces) or perhaps, if you are a trader, based on the profit you have made.asked by [LYS] Clutch

TL;DRMatchmaking will weigh several factors including ping, preferred play style, fighting or defensive ability, and allegiances; kill count would likely factor in, but it's too early to tell exactly.

The matchmaking is going to obviously have a lot of criteria.Part of it will be your ping, part of it will be what you're really into, PvE, PvP, and then also part of it will be, sort of, how good a fighter you are, or how good your ship is in terms of defense and everything else.So we haven't 100% figured it out, but I definitely think that your kill count would factor into it. But also, there would have to be, like if someone is a trader and they're really good, and they're pretty defensive and strong, then they could match up against someone that was a strong pirate. It sort of depends. But that's part of what we're going to do in the dogfighting, just on a base dogfighting level. We're going to do some basic stat tracking and we're going to decide what we think the best stats to track in terms of matchmaking people are. 'Cause partly the matchmaking also will be based on organizations, allegiances, who your friends are, who your enemies are, that kind of stuff. So it's still a little too early to tell, but I would definitely think that the kill count would factor into it.
