Did the space shuttle have windscreen wipers? I suppose it went belly in, didn't it? So it didn't go face first through atmospheres. I think 900 years in the future, we perhaps would have evolved past it and had space Rain-X.

There are definitely bugs with the current canopy effects at the moment that we are looking at. Something changed and it has wildly inconsistent results across all the ships that used to work. So some of them, the water and slush is the wrong size or it's going the wrong way or it's not appearing at all. So if you're offended at the moment by the amount of water and slush going across your canopy, it's probably not intended to be like that.
