The poster asks whether batteries for engineering will be included in the initial engineering release, since the engineering work itself has now been delayed too.asked by xavol

Hi,

As of now batteries will not be part of the initial release.
We really want to focus on the core engineering gameplay experiecen first and get enough time to iterate over that and make it fun.
Batteries are from our and my point of view a little extra that we can release seperatly once we feel it is ready and adds something meaningful to the gameplay.

Just to be clear batteries are still planned but focus is right now on the core aspects of the Engineering gameplay loop, like the basic power management, repair of components and the updated TTK for ships.

Cheers,
