Yes, it does. It's one of our new weapon types that we're introducing with the Banu Defender. So it would be the first weapon of this type that we're actually introducing into the game. So you can expect it to have all kinds of new VFX, and the projectiles will behave a lot differently from the weapons we've seen currently. It's a super long range, high speed projectile, which makes the Defender ideal for engaging at longer ranges.

What kind of damage does the tachyon do versus normal energy?

It's a standard energy weapon, but the particles are accelerated to faster-than-light speeds, so it'll be difficult to miss if you've got your sights over the target.
