What about altering the type of scan, like scanning for heat versus IR versus EM?
TL;DRFiltering scans by type, such as only resource signatures, is planned for a later tier but not the first tier, and would mostly filter what you see rather than what the ping returns.
Yeah, so something we have tiered up in a future tier is you do want to be able to filter out the results. And so if I'm only looking for a resource signature, give me the ability to go on my radar and go, the ping is only for resource, please. That is something that we have planned and we'd love to implement, just not for Tier 0.
And I would imagine if you're going to filter, you get maybe a better resolution result for that thing. If it's all the same results between filtering and not filtering, you might as well scan for everything just in case.
I think the filtering will probably be not on what you actually get as far as the results of the ping, but more the info that you see. So I want to filter out everything but the resource signatures, and so you kind of get rid of the other noise that you may not be looking for.
