TL;DRA head does fit, because the helmet is built on the in-game Odyssey helmet whose proportions were already worked out, and it has more internal room than it looks.
No, for sure. I don't necessarily want to go to the engine right this moment, but I can showcase it here.
We're also missing a body for scale at this point.
Because it's built off the Odyssey helmet, all that stuff was figured out here. The head fits in this helmet. But I can pull in our base male head.
It is the virtue of building off of a pre-existing asset. Since it's all been worked out for the Odyssey, and the Odyssey is in-game, it's functional, we know the head fits in it. Building over the Odyssey saves us a lot of time with the metrics.
So you can see it doesn't look like it, but we actually have a ton of room with this helmet.
This is of course for a normal size head and not a gargantuan melon cranium like me.
For sure. And in real life helmets are actually ginormous. Tons of padding, tons of protection.
