When we travel through a wormhole [a jump point], is it technically a movement on a coordinate map, or is there still some notion of teleporting from one map to another?asked by AlexWill

Actually, that's what's really cool. The way jumps are done: when you enter the jump, there's a zone. Imagine it's a big ship. All the players who enter the zone when it opens are part of the train. While you're in the jump, the zone moves with you. The moment you drop into Pyro's coordinates — it's not a coordinate, it's really at the authority level — you drop into Pyro's tree, but the zone has arrived in Pyro. And then the zone is destroyed. Think of it as a big bus. You don't notice it because it's somewhat behind the scenes, but that's how it works. So it really is a change of coordinates.
