Will we be able to quantum jump from atmo like they did in the presentation?

No, the intention would not be to allow you to do that. Essentially it was done by Sean and Simon in their tech demo, but we put that in so we could quickly travel to the other planet without having to waste everyone's time. So you're definitely not going to be able to quantum jump while still in the atmosphere.

That would be cool. We could basically have, if you want to make that dangerous maneuver, sort of like Star Trek, you just basically say, I'm going to go straight into quantum in the atmosphere, but I might take some damage.

Yeah, we'll discuss it, but generally the idea is that you have to get to space before you can engage quantum travel.
