What are the amenities in here [in the M80]?
TL;DRThe M80 interior is combat-focused, with a bed, weapon racks, personal storage, some space for utility boxes, and inside access to core components for repairs, while less critical components sit outside.
We've got a bed, it's got weapon racks, got access to all your components. We wanted it to keep its Origin DNA, but be a heavy fighter. And so one of the things that is helpful is having easy access to all your components. So we prioritised that functionality as the main thing that we really wanted on the interior of the ship. And then obviously being able to stow your weapons and personal storage and that sort of stuff.
It wasn't meant to be like an explorer or anything like that. It was supposed to be combat focused. It's got a little bit of space so you can keep general boxes from utility missions, like the small ones that you gather, and obviously for loadouts, standard weapon racks, a little bit of personal storage. The core components to keep the ship actually running are all inside, so you don't have to go outside if they get damaged; you can repair them from the inside. But obviously there's not enough space for all the components on the inside, so the less critical ones for being able to actually operate the ship are outside the ship.
