When you do these things, do you always start with the helmet, or is that just, in this case, something that kind of jumped out at you?

No, I normally start with the helmet, and the reason why is because we as a species, we communicate by looking at the eyes and the face. And so when you talk to somebody or when you see somebody first, you don't look at their feet or their hands first. Most of the time you look at their face because that's how you identify people. And helmets, it's the same thing. If you're wearing glasses or something, your eyes will go there first and then your brain will swap to whatever it's interested in next. And so for me, when I concept something, the helmet is always the most important thing. And then I try to have the armor or everything below follow through afterwards. Unless there's a specific lore reason or design reason for something else to be more important.
