How would long hair work with helmets?
TL;DRLong hair with helmets is still being figured out; they're experimenting with caps and a few helmet-specific hair variations to avoid making thousands of hairs.
So we are figuring that out. Currently, I know Corey Johnson has been working with and experimenting with different types of Snoopy caps and then maybe also doing helmet hair variations and long hair variations. So we're seeing what the best solution to that would be.
And when you say helmet hair, you don't mean what happens to my hair when I put on helmets?
That's exactly what I mean. Let's say you have 10 different styles of hair, right? If you put on a helmet, maybe you only have three different variations so you don't have to do as many types of hair variations, right? But also the hair is really difficult to see with these helmets because they're really obstructive. So that's what we have to experiment with, right? How far can we go? How much time is it going to take? And then what's the best solution for doing this that requires an appropriate amount of work? Sometimes these things could evolve into something crazy and we're trying to prevent that.
Yeah, you want to avoid making 3,000 different hairs, so you want to be efficient about it and see what matters and, artistically, what can we get away with to still maintain the look.
