When designing ships, do you design them for one specific purpose, or do you consider that they can be customized into additional roles down the line?

John CreweVehicle Director

Depends on the ship. Some are very single-role focused. The Ares is a good example. Even though it has two variants, they're just: how differently do you want to kill something? You can't do anything but shoot with the Ares. But other ships, yeah, we do go, right, how customizable do we want this to be? Do we want it to be very lightly user customizable, so that they could just change the components and the weapons? Or do we want to go further and talk about modules swapping out and things like that?

And then there's the Endeavor. What ship do you want to attach to your ship?
