If you had to describe it, what does a producer do?

There's a lot that a producer does. I think it'd be easier to list off things that a producer doesn't do. But one thing that we don't do is development, right? We don't actually make things, but we are cheerleaders for everybody who does. We create and maintain the schedules and sync with the teams on a daily basis and make sure that they don't have any things blocking them or anything that may put their work at risk. And then if they do have things that are blocking them, we will be the ones to communicate with the various people around the studios to help ease that burden and remove that obstacle.

I would submit that if you help developers develop, then you are part of development.
