You've got the escape pods here as well. The lifeboats, a bit more than a typical escape pod?

Just because of the sheer volume of the ship, we couldn't really just have tiny little pods, so they have entire rafts, and they're scattered throughout the entire ship. The ones on the conning tower are the most visible, because we didn't want to fully embed them, just because we would have had to increase the size of the conning tower even more. So obviously, if somehow someone manages to peel back a million layers of defense and you need to escape, there's plenty of rafts.

So there are lifeboats in the tower, and there are lifeboats in the main hull.

So if somebody does manage to take one of these down, one would assume that those are somewhat pilotable.

Yeah, they have limited control, but they're essentially like tiny little habitable environments.
