How did you end up [in level design], Andreas?

Andreas JohanssonLead Level Designer, Persistent Universe

My teenage years were before even the internet, right? We didn't even have computers yet. I remember when I was seven, I used to love drawing top-down road networks. No idea why. Many A4 pages all lining up, just creating huge cities top-down, GTA 1 and 2 style, right? But this was back in probably '91, '89, '88. And then, of course, it came into Legos, which is the only toy I had when I grew up. I had nothing but Legos, only Lego. It's the supreme toy, the best toy. And then, of course, the classic, going into D&D, or our Swedish version of D&D, Drakar och Demoner, which is quite old. And then being the dungeon master of that, that was also fun. I always loved creating my own content, right?
