Hi. No, there are no visual features tied to Vulkan relating to gas clouds, so this is really a question for the creative director and marketing department.

It’s possible the videos were just recorded earlier in the development, and those assets didn’t work well in the final version. It’s relatively common for things to look good in limited scenarios, but once viewed from all distances or when they try to get them in budget things need to be scaled back. Or it could just have been a “look dev” experiment, or intended for a future patch.

But these are just guesses, I’m not involved in the day to day content setup of locations or marketing videos. Sorry I can’t be more help!
