Is it all just bad people in Pyro? Is there a reason a good person would go there to live?

Yeah, I mean, that's actually been one of the conversations: what is the draw for the lawful characters that want to go there? One of the things we've been talking about is a new org that would be trying to instill law in Pyro. But the bigger one would be a group that I nicknamed the Survivors, which are a neutral faction within it. They're not outlaws or criminals, they're just trying to eke out a living and not bother anybody. And the idea being that if I'm going out there as a lawful player, this would be the faction that I would probably align myself closest with. They're not trying to cause trouble, but they will have jobs for people to do and stuff like that. And the idea is that they're networked over a bunch of different worlds, so you can have a presence.

Yeah, because there are members of humanity who don't want to live under the UEE's rule, and there's still opportunities and money to be made in the Pyro system. We've identified on the narrative side these historical waves of interest in the Pyro system. First discovery of the system, and Pyrotechnic Amalgamated moving out there trying to get as many resources. And then a big push when shield technology proved it was all of a sudden safer to fly in Pyro, closer to the flare star, and that brought in more people. And the discovery of new systems that connect to Pyro has brought with it a new wave of interest, people looking to get the resources there and make profits in that system. And when the Stanton system really kicked off, all of a sudden there was another renewed interest, because the Stanton system is an economic powerhouse in the universe. And so how did that affect Pyro? And so I think there's all these individuals who end up in Pyro for various reasons, who do just want a life, who want to be left alone, who want to make their way as best they can. So hopefully the players will be looking either to help them out or severely take advantage of them and make their lives a living hell. So we'll see what they want to do.
