The Constellation Taurus is coming with 3.14, the last variant of one of our original five pledge ships. Does the Constellation Taurus represent the gold standard for the entire Constellation series of starships?

Short answer, no. So obviously the Taurus has been floating around for a long time. There's been many conspiracy theories about what we've been doing with it. And as I've mentioned before in previous Star Citizen Lives, it was never going to be a whole rework of the ship and the lineup. It simply just spread over that amount of time because it's been a project that we've had on the back burner that we can just put someone on, and when we need to shift priorities, it's the easiest thing that we can pause, move those people onto something else, and then come back to. So it was only ever going to be adding the Taurus to the existing lineup. But that doesn't mean the Constellations are all going to stay as they are. That's not the final version of the Constellation. So when we get to the gold standard pass for the Constellation, then they will all have that [pass] we are doing currently on the Retaliator, where we're making sure the metrics are correct, making sure the components are in the right place at the right height for accessibility. Because if you look at the Constellation at the moment, I think there's multiple component hatches on the wall labeled quantum drive. Obviously, that's not the case. The Connie doesn't have two quantum drives. That's just an art issue. So we'll be going through, doing all that, making sure that everyone's favorite seat-table combo actually works and you can fit in it, and doing something about the struts. So I know I said in the past that we would look to do something with the struts on the Taurus. We didn't have time to do the struts and update the pilot seat with all the new buttons that we require. So we did the pilot seat first, which people will see in 3.14. And then when we do the gold standard pass, we'll touch everything else.
