What are the differences between missiles and torpedoes, specifically sizes?
Chris RobertsCEO / Game Director
I thought I'd answered this on 10 for the Chairman. Probably. But no, torpedoes and missiles in space aren't that different. It's just torpedoes tend to be bigger, have a higher payload yield, probably don't accelerate or fly at the same top speed and don't turn as quick. So essentially they're more built for going up against bigger, slower moving ships, and missiles traditionally faster payload and therefore anti-fighter use.

Easier to pick off a torpedo with a point defense gun.
