Ship intakes are a part of the component system. How do the mechanics work? Will ships regenerate fuel at the same rate at all times, or will it vary depending on location and speed?

So the core intakes on ships, I want to say are still going to be sort of a tunable aspect, you'll have some adjustment on how fast they'll refill your boost fuel onto your ship. And that's the main intakes you're going to see on every ship. I know, was it the Starfarer that was mentioned? The base model, its intakes did the fuel refinement, and that's more of a special case thing for the Starfarer, so part of how it's harvesting and processing the gas into quantum and jump fuel. But for most other ships, yeah, your intake is going to be recharging your boost fuel. The kind of intake and how good of one you've installed is going to really gauge how quick that's going to replenish, and also how fast it can be burned up at times.
