Can we get a mouse-wheel-controlled speed limiter, like on ships, but for ground vehicles? It would make speed control a lot easier for keyboard and mouse players.

TL;DRThey like the idea of a mouse-wheel speed limiter for ground vehicles and will add it to ideas evaluated when they look at ground vehicles, but it still needs testing before any commitment.

That is an excellent idea. We're evaluating ground vehicles as well at the moment.

Yeah, they're another thing, like turrets, that we know they're not where they need to be.

That idea is really cool because it sort of unifies that control between space vehicles and on foot and ground vehicles. So we'll add it to our pool of explorations and ideas that we'll evaluate when we look at ground vehicles.

On the surface, this seems like a good idea. Sitting here and hearing it, I can't think of a reason why it would be a bad idea. But that's why it's important to put these things through testing, because all games, but especially Star Citizen, are a combination of a myriad of game systems that are all working together and all interacting with each other. And standing on its own without any interactions, it might work fine. But with a dozen other systems that are at play inside a ground vehicle, it may cause unforeseen issues. So it still needs to be explored, it still needs to be tested, it still needs to be vetted before we can sit here and say, yeah, we'll do it.
