Brian Chambers · Development DirectorEverything and more, right? The tech, we're building, as we keep saying, this strong foundation: procedural planets and the atmospherics and everything else that's going in, subsumption as it grows and grows. So everything you saw so far that we put out from CitizenCon will absolutely be in 3.0 and more, right? Each system is going to grow a little bit more, more fidelity, a little bit more in size, a little bit more in complexity, maybe a little more optimized, right?
Chris Roberts · CEO and Project DirectorPretty optimized, though, I think. People look at the, we call it a Homestead demo because originally it started as a homestead, but it grew into something much more. We actually left the debug frame counter up on it to show what it was doing, and the actual planetary tech is insanely fast, because Marco and Carsten, as they were writing it, were building it with processing on the GPU and also multi-core processing. Blazingly fast. Most of the new stuff that we're doing is built with a completely different paradigm in mind than, say, some of the legacy stuff, and that's what we're spending all the time refactoring. That stuff's fast. What we have to go and get is the game simulation and some of the older, more legacy stuff to be optimized. We're always adding stuff.
