Since we can replicate humans with, quote unquote, 'replication man goo', does that mean that meats and other things can be synthesized in the same way, like a horrific Star Trek replicator with one too many steps?

TL;DRLab-grown synthetic meat is already part of the lore, common in the inner systems where raising livestock is costly, while real livestock is more typical on the frontier.

Cellular meat reproduction, I think, has actually been happening before the current regen tech. The idea of being able to kind of grow meat in a lab: a lot of what the inner systems use for their protein sources would be synthetic meats, where growing actual livestock would be more prohibitive, and actual cow would be a little bit more of a luxury, versus on the frontier, where it's a little bit the opposite, where they don't have the manufacturing plants. So maybe they're actually putting effort into raising livestock for food. But yeah, there's a lot of synthetic meats out there, whether they're using the expensive regeneration, whether someone's trying to regen a chicken leg, I don't know. But yeah, synthetic meats are definitely part of the lore. I guess you could argue, are they really synthetic if they're cellularly identical to actual meat? Maybe they're just meat. We'll talk about that offline.
