Does the Pyro crab have a name?

Yes. It's called the whip crab. I don't know what else I can say about that, but yeah, whip crab.

Is it W-H-I-P? Not the work-in-progress crab?

That would be very funny of us, but we unfortunately did not make that joke. Whip as in the weapon that Indiana Jones favors.

I can't find the concept art really quickly, but it has kind of these long tendrils coming off of it, which is why the people in Pyro who saw it were like, oh, that thing's got whips.
