John Crewe · Vehicle DirectorIt's all still planned, those customization elements. People obviously have components in-game that they can customize now. There's going to be more of them. There'll be more variety of them. AI blades we talked about a few minutes ago. Tuning of thrusters is a good one. I know there's been some very early milestone or Kickstarter rewards with tuning kits that we'll deal with. Something that we do want to do is have different thruster sets for ships, which I don't know if Dave and Rich want to touch on.
David Colson · Gameplay Programmer, Product Owner of the Vehicle Feature TeamWe've done a huge amount of the prerequisite work to support that, and we're pretty much there in terms of the core vehicle system actually being able to do that. Now it comes to a matter of actually doing it and fitting it in with the economy and having the shops all supported and everything, which is a lot more work.
John Crewe · Vehicle DirectorYeah, there's definitely plans in the very near term to have at least one ship support having two different thruster sets that you can purchase in-game.
David Colson · Gameplay Programmer, Product Owner of the Vehicle Feature TeamNot to mention as well that obviously having multiple thruster sets almost doubles the tuning work on the flight balancing of that ship, because now you have to make sure that ship works in a reasonable capacity for two different configurations.
