Will the more global things like server meshing help AI at all?
Francesco Roccucci · AI Director

Absolutely. Because I think it's the best thing that will reduce the workload on the servers, right? And I think, as a lot of people report when we read all the posts on Reddit or everywhere, you can feel that there is a very good experience for people when the servers are fresh and there are not a lot of systems or a lot of locations enabled. So I think this is why we are really pushing through this technology that is server meshing, because we know that if you are on more servers with less workload, the experience is closer to what regular games do right now.

Dan Baker · Senior Designer, AI Content Team

Just to talk briefly, sorry, about our kind of frustrations as well: we could make a thing and we'll test it in single player and it'll work great. We could test it again in a local server on our machine and it'll still work great. But then you send that out to the PU and a week or two later, you'll get a bug back saying it doesn't work in the PU. It's like, but it works.
