As far as the size of dynamic events, are they limited in scope until Quanta is fully on board and up and running, or will some of them be smaller and some of them massive? Is there a scale you have in mind?
TL;DRDynamic events will vary in scale, from large ones threatening the whole solar system to localized ones like a single landing zone, as the team builds a library of scenarios and designer tools.
It's actually exactly, it's both. Some of them will be really large, like Xenothreat, and it puts the whole solar system theoretically under threat. Others will be much more localized. Our first test for this, Nine Tails Lockdown, is much more localized, as a threat to a specific landing zone. So if you have no interest in that particular landing zone and the shops that have been cut off from the world and aren't able to get the supplies that they need, and therefore they're all calling out for help and the price is going through the roof, what they'd pay to get medical supplies and all this other stuff, then you can largely ignore it. And so the idea is, again, it's like we're building a library: big fleet invasions of a solar system, smaller things, which is just a particular pirate gang assaulting a particular landing zone. We'll have infiltration stuff. Again, you're aiming to get the tools to allow the designers to basically express solutions to all of these dramatically different scenarios.
