The Caterpillar had been called the Freelancer's evil twin, but it seems to be much, much more of a ship than the Freelancer. Has this concept changed over time?

Ben Lesnick · Director of Community Engagement, Online Strategy, and Spaceships
It is much larger now. I would say it changed between initial imagination, where it was just kind of an evil Freelancer, and then the first drawings we did with Jim. Because it's been this Starfarer-sized ship ever since then, at least. So not a massive change since you've seen it.
