All of our mission givers so far have been kind of scummy. Will there ever be legitimate ones?
TL;DRYes, legitimate mission givers will come, some already recorded but not yet in the game, with lawful ones from ArcCorp, microTech and later the Advocacy or military, as the mission pipeline improves.
Yes, there definitely will be legitimate ones. There are actually already some that we've recorded and shot. They're just not in the game yet. For instance, on ArcCorp, I believe there's a Blacjac Security rep that will give you more lawful missions from ArcCorp's standpoint. Definitely on microTech there will be. I mean, Hurston, Constantine Hurston really is kind of a representative of the Hurston setup. He's a jerk. He's not evil or anything. And longer term, you'll be able to get missions from, say, for instance, the Advocacy, or perhaps the UEE military will reach out to you for something. So we're going to have all sides of the spectrum, both legal and illegal. Law and chaos, so to speak. So that's just the implementation of the mission givers. We're working on that pipeline to make it more efficient, make the AI logic better. So once we've got that down better, we should be able to turn out more of them. So there's a lot of things that you see in the current PU that are the first stage, but we're also thinking, okay, how do we scale this so we can do this across many star systems without having it all be so painful or brute force. And so that's a lot of what you've seen in the Stanton system: us doing this and then figuring out how we can do it much more efficiently and at more scale.
