Benoit Beausejour · Chief Technology OfficerWell, so on the... I was going to touch a bit on ship cleanup, and not necessarily ship cleanup, but entity cleanup in general. We talked about the physics events earlier in the show, right? So the physics events are a godsend for the server performance, because we evict all these debris that are causing intersections, slowing down physics. And so that's one of the reasons why we've been able to get performance of the servers up in general. Now, one of those components... Well, the same system is actually responsible for a pink glow that shows up on a ship and will just pop it, right? And so that's part of how we try to resolve the physics intersection for ships, right? And the way it works right now is that it has a smoother number of frames where, if the physics engine is like heavy, heavy, heavy, heavy intersection, at some point it will go like, okay, something needs to happen. The way we handle that event is still a bit too aggressive right now. And so in some cases, it triggers on a heavy intersection and will pop the ship. But we don't want this to happen to attended vehicles ever. And so we're working right now at adjusting that flow so that only unattended vehicles in full intersection for a very long number of frames are cleaned up. And so right now it's a bit too aggressive for this part. But the distinct pink glow, we added that to make sure we could identify those problems, which we expected would kind of happen until we tuned the system properly.
