Nick Wardle · Economy teamSo, we do have player beacons, and I know what the current state of that is, but that is a system... To answer the question, the beacon system is something which provides for players to contract other players, and it's a system we will be looking to expand upon in the future. Personally, I think that this side of the economy is fundamental, given that we are having a hybrid economy, so player-driven systems.
Jared Huckaby · Host, CommunityYeah, it really is. Like I said, I'm going on 10 years here now. I've had 100 conversations with Tony and with everybody else who's involved with this stuff. And I cannot overstate how important the player-driven aspect of our economy is to us. It's just things like the player beacon system and stuff, it's just waiting for the eye of development, Sauron, to turn its eye back to it, resources to free up, new technologies to work on. A lot of this stuff, you don't want to put in a whole bunch of work when you know this other work that you also have to do is going to invalidate that. So we're forced to kind of sit there and grin and bear certain aspects of this while we're waiting for other new technologies and other new works to come online.
