When you started, the PU had just come out in December 2015. What was that like, coming onto a project that's trying to build a persistent universe, but doing it live while they're building it?
TL;DRPhil found it daunting but exciting, as a backer wanting to build QA into a department from a small base where people enjoy working.
It was a daunting prospect, but one that I was really, really eager to get my teeth into. I was a backer before I started working here, and Star Citizen is the game I've always wanted to play, and being a very big part of that in the QA process was something that was very, very important to me and very exciting. And also being able to build a department pretty much from such a small base to what it needs to be and what it is now, and making it a department where people can come and have fun while they're working. You hear a lot of tales from other studios and places, no names or anything, but you hear horror stories about what it's like to be QA. And we want to make sure that no one ever felt that way when they came to work here. And we pride ourselves on that fact.
