We're not saying the AI is perfect and done and that as soon as the servers get better everything will be fixed. You still have a healthy road ahead of you with the work to be done [on AI]?
TL;DRRoccucci agrees the AI is far from done and could be pushed forever, but he's proud of the iterative improvements so far and the visible jumps between versions.
But it's also, I think, for us, the enjoyable part of our job is also that pretty much you could continue to push it forever. You might never be happy with the state in which you are. I think, for example, perception, we could work on making it faster for a really long time. So I think it's iteration. For example, I'm really happy already with the stuff that went into Siege of Orison. That doesn't mean, as you said, that I consider it done. I consider it far from done. But it was a really good and nice step towards a lot of improvements that we put in. And I think you need to be also proud of the iterations. Usually people would see the final game, and now they see a lot of these iterations. If you look at them one right after the other, sometimes they don't feel like a lot, but I think it's also great when you see, even from the community, some comparison of how it was in 1.5 to 3.8, 3.17. And I think there have been really a lot of jumps in the game.
