The new 3.10 delivery missions are a great idea, but they're also three times the work for the same or even less reward. What was the reason for this change?
Todd Papy · Star Citizen Live Director

Well, we're changing the way that the actual missions work and making them more modularized so we can actually scale them and be able to plop them into different locations very, very quickly. And then also just adjusting them so that we've got missions that are local based versus interplanetary or interstellar. So with that, we look at the overall... We also have a rough idea of, hey, we want the average player to be earning around this much per hour. Review it. We do constant adjustments to the rewards and how much we're paid out. And basically, we do a lot of that tuning when we're actually in wave two, wave three, and wave four. So I fully expect us to still be looking at the payouts and adjusting them as we go before we go live.

And then, of course, as the economy continues to develop, as more gameplay systems come online and the ecosystem grows bigger, there may be continuing changes.

Todd Papy · Star Citizen Live Director

Oh, I can guarantee that. There will always be changes. And then the other aspect that we'll look into is basically how much risk reward? Are there any other modifiers that we added to it? Are you delivering plutonium versus you're delivering a pizza? That should have different rewards. But it would be the same kind of basic gameplay, taking something from A to B.
