Do you want to take a moment to explain what First Contact Day was?

It's the day where we had first contact.

With?

The Banu. The Banu were the first alien species that we came into contact with. It was a fun misunderstanding. You can read about it on the website, but it was a Banu out wandering around and it was very tense, but it went pretty well considering, and the Banu have been one of our longest and closest allies through the Empire's ups and downs.

Well, to be more clear, he was running. And he got shot at.

I think if it had been any other species, it might have gone quite a bit different. But the Banu rolled with the punches pretty well.

The Banu are interstellar friends to all.
