Can you tell us about this week's sneak peek?

TL;DRThe sneak peek showed new Freelancer interior concept art from Foundry 42, reworking the ship for multi-crew with a special focus on escape pod mechanics, following the same treatment given to the Constellation.

The sneak peek this week, that rhymes, was the new concept art for the Freelancer interiors being developed by the folks at Foundry 42 right now. Those were completed about two weeks ago and we've been begging to let them out since then. They're doing the update passes on the ships, the final update passes on the ships, making them functional for multi-crew. Freelancer is next in the bucket, that's not an expression. And they looked into the air and they said what a lot of you say: we can do this better. And so they are. You notice there's a special focus on the escape pod mechanics. They're developing the pods for each ship, kind of take into account the stuff we didn't think about three years ago when we kicked off these ships, before we had an engine testbed to put them in, see how they acted. And you'll hear a lot more about this with the Cutlass post. We designed a lot of the ships to look very, very cool with kind of basic gameplay ideas, and as we have developed the overall GDD we say, oh, wait a minute, every ship needs to be able to eject, and you need to be able to get to this piece of cargo, and you need to be able to eject engine panel, and so on. So that's part of the path they're getting right now. You saw the Constellation on the show, and now it's the Freelancer's turn, and that is concept paintovers by the guys at Foundry for what they're planning to do to the base Freelancer.

Yes, and the rework started with Behaviour, if I remember correctly. We like Behaviour. They do good work.
