How will large ships behave differently in the new flight model? Ships like the Reclaimer become really hard to control when they get too close to the ground.
TL;DRLarge ships use the same mechanics as others but are tuned to be very slow and sluggish, and the biggest have so little thrust that atmospheric flight is impractical, as originally intended.
We are seeing changes. They don't behave any differently in terms of mechanics, right? They're only different in terms of tuning, and they're really slow and really sluggish. And some of the really big ones have so little thrust that they are impractical for atmospheric flight, which is kind of what we originally wanted. If you have something as big as the Bengal, you can't come into the atmosphere. Well, you could, but it'd be suicidal. If you have something as big as the Bengal, don't get excited. So I think the example that's in 3.5 is the Reclaimer. That's the salvage ship, right? If you come into the atmosphere in the Reclaimer, it really slowly drifts down, and you can pump up as much as you can, it'll just keep drifting down. It just won't be able to. Don't bring it into the atmosphere, I guess, is the tip. You won't be able to get out.
