Will we be able to log off in our ship on a planet and log back in where we were inside our ship?

Yes. That's absolutely the plan. It'll be done through the bed. So those of you with beds, wherever you go, you get into bed, you log out and your ship will log out with you. And then when you log back in, you'll be in your bed wherever you left your ship. Providing that there's no one who's parked right where your ship was. You will come back like a meter to the left of it. But yeah, pretty much where you were.
