John Crewe · Vehicle DirectorLet's start with the Hull series. They were concepted back in 2015 by the great Jim Martin. Back then, they were in everyone's favorite measurement of cargo, freight units. How many FUs is a ship? They had so many FUs, and they got converted to SCUs, and as we brought the Hull series into the game, the Hull C actually, I think, kept its original SCU conversion rate. The Hull A was 48 at concept, but we increased that to 64. Again, cargo metrics in our game solidified over the years. It didn't make sense to do this weird 48, because it didn't fit nicely with the cargo size criteria in the game. And as part of that, we decided that we want 32 SCU containers to be our largest. There's not going to be a magical 64, 128, 256 one. And that has knock-ons for the Hull D and E. But I want to talk about the Hull B first, in that we've been working on that. That was 384 SCU at concept. It's now going to be 512, and it can still land planetside with the cargo fully on, and you can get in and out of it, which is an important thing. There was a lot of finagling to get that to fit.
Jared Huckaby · Host, CommunityWe don't have images, and I want to be clear, we don't have images because Ben gave them to me and I forgot to load them up. So you can blame me. But essentially, it went from this to like this.
Ben Curtis · Vehicle Art DirectorSlightly longer, but still within the same hangar size. It was a little bit of a headache. We tried a lot of different things, but yeah, we got there in the end.
Jared Huckaby · Host, CommunityYeah, the Hull B is coming in 2026 too.
