Are damage over time plasma weapons still planned?

Yes. I think the Glaive, isn't the Glaive supposed to have a plasma weapon?

The plasma is a thing, that's the characteristic that we want to go for: what's the difference between a laser cannon and a plasma cannon? At the moment, not a huge amount, whereas having damage over time allows those two weapons to have meaningful choices. The plasma cannon might do less alpha damage, but it burns away at your hull once you do a hit.
