Does this change to being release-based rather than feature-based make it harder to predict what features will be in each patch?

TL;DRErin expects predictability to improve by focusing resources on fewer things at once, though one or two features may still slip, and he expects delivery of content to speed up.

We're also putting a lot of time and effort into making our predictions better for what we're doing. One of the ways we're doing that is by not trying to do so much in one go. Don't get me wrong, we're not going to cut back, but we've been very sensible about making sure that resources in the company are focused on one thing and not split between lots of different things. So I think we're going to be a lot more predictable about what you'll see and what we'll advertise will be in the patches. But like I said, yes, one or two things may slip. One or two things may not be quite as good as we want and may move on to the next one. But the point is, it'll be an ever-improving cycle. And I think this new system will mean that the predictability and also the basic delivery of content to the community is going to speed up.
