You've mentioned something called self-healing. What's self-healing?

TL;DRSelf-healing means adding functions that detect a system in a bad state and attempt to fix it, keeping things running while developers investigate the proper root cause, even if it's sometimes a kludge.

Well, so self-healing is basically when we add functions to a system to detect that it's in a bad state and attempt to fix it. And so you could call it a kludge in some areas. Sometimes it's not the right thing. But I think that in this case, for a lot of the systems that we have where we are working on a replacement, for example, and we're trying to keep this one running, self-healing will come in and basically rectify the situations. The way our game is made, with our streaming system, makes some trivial things in a normal game very complex. And sometimes we run into these issues where the game teams can't really identify what's specifically causing an issue. They just know it happens. In the past, we used to wait for the key engineers that can actually decipher these conditions to come in. But these guys are obviously, everybody's swamped with work. And so sometimes the delay was so long that you guys as players would have to deal with the condition for long periods of time. And so self-healing is basically an approach where we're telling the game developers: while you're investigating the proper root cause for this, provide a self-healing alternative, which keeps the system running properly. It's self-repair, basically.
