How confident do you feel that you've got a handle on this?
TL;DRBeausejour says the team knows what to do, that building the guardrails will take a while but not months, and that he's confident such crashes and misconfigurations will stop as long as nobody trips the validation.
I think we know what we have to do. I think it's going to take a while to get all of these guardrails in place, right? But in the meantime, we just have to respect the rules that we've set forward, right? So that while we can't machine check everything right this second, and to be honest, I'm not talking about months of work here on these validation frameworks, right? But it's about putting in the ability for every team to contribute guardrails, which right now is a bit splintered, and so we need to bring this all back together. So I'm confident that, especially for the errors we just talked about, like releasing a piece of content that crashes every server on launch, twice, right, or evident misconfiguration of items or costs or recipes, I'm confident that that will solve the issue, that those issues will no longer occur as long as we respect the validation and nobody trips them off, which is the next battle. I think that we can eliminate that.
