Will we be able to EVA inside our own ships?asked by Ed Loco

TL;DRYes, EVA inside ships is the intent, probably after gravity can be turned off; room-size tagging that limits speed ships in 3.23, while surface attaching and handholds are not in 3.23.

Probably after the gravity is able to be turned off, yeah.

Chris ParrySystems Designer

Absolutely, yeah. That's the intent. And again, going back to post-3.23, sort of the ecosystem of how you traverse in zero G. EVA, yes. We've got a system that is actually going out in 3.23 where we tag up rooms of different sizes. So if you're in quite a small confined space, you don't move forward and then start bouncing off the walls. It reduces your max speed. So yeah, absolutely. And the intent is that we'll have this suite of traversal options where you can use your thrusters, if you have EVA thrusters, you can use your tractor beam to move yourself around, attach to surfaces, again, not 3.23, move around, launch yourself off them. And then there's also another feature for handholds where you can grab onto stuff, again, not 3.23. And you can jump between those. There's supposed to be a whole suite of options inside as well as out.
