Are there any Easter eggs on the weapons you've made that you'd like to share?
TL;DROne speaker has put an abbreviated name in a few serial numbers, but they stay cautious with Easter eggs to avoid breaking immersion, and serial numbers usually have no meaning.
I've put my abbreviated name in a few serial numbers, but that's pretty much the most fun I've had. I'm very pedestrian; some people have snuck slightly more memes and things onto decals and stuff. We don't want people to see something that takes them out of the game, because if you see a decal that's got some meme in it, you know a developer's put that in, right? You've got to be careful that your Easter eggs are not too immersion-breaking, I think. Also, if someone sees them and it's a naughty Easter egg, you might get in trouble.
You also have to be aware not to send folks on random goose chases and stuff, because they think it's a clue in some ARG game and it's actually just the locker combination that you had in high school or something. It doesn't mean anything.
Sometimes serial numbers are really just serial numbers and don't have a meaning. Usually they don't have a meaning.
